Don’t they love Srec either?

Kinetic energy recovery system. It was to be the F1 technical revolution of this season and bring more advantages than disadvantages. It's the contrary ! La Fota wants him dead.

Don’t they love Srec either?

Thanks to him, the Fia wanted to make F1 a discipline of its own, focused on the future. Successful operation ?
Not really. Firstly because it brings little. 60 Kw, 80hp per lap, to be used at the driver's choice for 6??6 per lap in one or more times. Then because the fuel economy it generates is ridiculous: 0,021 liters/lap, or 1,47 liters over the distance of a GP. Nothing to worry about for a discipline which, over the year, and all inclusive, burns less oil than a plane on the Paris/New York route. Finally, it doesn't add much to the show either insofar as those who have it use it in the same places, at the same times and in the same way. (…)

Who are its most regular users and who benefits the most?
This Bahrain GP was a test event for him because of the ideal layout: start, long straight and first turn requiring astonishing braking: from 1 to 312 km/h in 66m. 133 G of longitudinal deceleration! And other braking of the same type, therefore enormous recovery capacity. In fact, those who deprived themselves of it voluntarily or not at the Chinese GP, put it back into service in Bahrain. Like the Ferrari and Renault. Even Kubica, although penalized by his weight, came there!
