Time is running out for Caterham

Absent from the United States and Brazilian Grands Prix in 2014 due to financial difficulties, the team Caterham had managed to line up on the starting grid for the last race in Abu Dhabi, notably thanks to a crowd-funding campaign. Placed under administration, the Leafield-based team, registered on the FIA list for the 2015 championship, however, has still not found a buyer, just over a week before the first winter tests at Jerez in Spain.

“As long as there are people who have the opportunity to do something, I will not close down,
explains Team Principal and administrator Finbarr O'Connell to Reuters. I am aware that the time will come when it will not make sense for anyone to invest large sums of money in Caterham for the 2015 season. Time will just run out. »

A few days ago, Bernie Ecclestone, on the other hand, was more optimistic for a potential takeover of Marussia.
