Barrichello weekend?

Rubens, here's a tour for you. You've finished all five Chinese GPs and won here in 2004. Do you remember the second one in 2004?
Yes, it was Jenson (Button)!

Is this a good omen?
Yes, I like this circuit. I have always been comfortable there. The weather may be changeable because the date of the Grand Prix has been changed. I think the first two races were exciting for the spectators. Racing in the rain brings more spectacle and I believe this one will be of the same ilk.

Two months ago, you didn't even know if you would have a steering wheel this season. How do you feel after this incredible start to the season?
As I said before, I have always been very optimistic about my future in competition. But quite honestly, I think I was the only one? with my two children? namely that I will not be on foot this season. I knew the car would be very good, but probably not this good. It was a dream when I received the phone call confirming that I was going to run. After three or four laps behind the wheel, I knew how much of a match we had. car competitive.

What can you tell us about the choice of tires made for this race?

Honestly, I need to understand why we have such different types of tires. Is it just for show? I think we have a very good ?standard? tire. for this circuit, and a soft tire with which all the teams will struggle. This can make the race interesting because drivers on standard tires will easily overtake those on soft tires. However, I am sure that we could also have more efficient tires. In Australia we had some graining after five laps and I think it will be the same here. Maybe it will even be worse, because this track is very abrasive. If this is all for show, so be it.
