Charles Leclerc continues his good streak by winning pole at the Singapore GP ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.

Leclerc snatches pole at Singapore GP

Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) took pole at the Singapore GP with a time of 1'36''217 in the last attempt, becoming the greatest pole-sitter of the year in the discipline. This is the 5th pole of his career in F1 and his third in a row after Belgium and Italy, events which he both won. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) completes the first row almost 2 tenths behind.

Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) is only 3rd, more than 2 tenths behind his Monegasque teammate. The four-time world champion came close to the wall on his first lap but abandoned his second attempt.

Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) takes 5th position between the Red Bull de Max Verstappen et Alexander albon the Renault de Daniel Ricciardo et Nico Hulkenberg are surrounded by McLaren de Carlos Sainz Jr and Lando Norris which completes the Top 10.

Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso) was eliminated at the end of Q2 by ranking 13th behind Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo). Sergio Pérez was the closest to Q3, failing 4 hundredths behind Nico Hülkenberg (Renault), but the Mexican will fall 5 places following a gearbox change after FP3. Kimi Räikkönen (Alfa Romeo) set the 14th fastest time ahead Kevin Magnussen (Haas).

Romain Grosjean (Haas) failed in Q1. The Frenchman failed in 18th place behind Lance stroll (Racing Point) by only beating the Williams by George Russell and Robert Kubica. Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) failed a few thousandths behind Kevin Magnussen (Haas).
