Lewis Hamilton's 8 victories at Silverstone

Along with the Hungaroring, Silverstone is the circuit on which the seven-time world champion has won the most in Formula 1, thanks to his eight victories acquired there. Since 2014, only Sebastian Vettel has been able to beat him on this track (2018). A look back at these eight successes.

2008: First rainy, first happy

A few months after missing out on a first world championship title by just a small point, Hamilton wants his revenge and is counting on his national Grand Prix to spark the revolt. Winner a few weeks earlier in the rain in Monaco, his qualities in the wet are once again put to use. Despite a disappointing 4th place in qualifying, the kid from Stevenage got off to a great start. Quickly, he moved up to the pole sitter, his teammate Heikki Kovalainen, whom he ended up overtaking on the 5th lap at the end of Hangar Straight, to take the lead and never let go. The Grand Prix is marked by torrential rain and Felipe Massa's six legendary spins! For the first time in his career, Lewis dec
