Caterham assets up for auction

The ax seems to have fallen on the Caterham team, its assets having been auctioned off by the administrators.

Changing the under administrative supervision for several months, following its financial difficulties, the Caterham team had missed the United States and Brazilian Grands Prix at the end of 2014, before a return during the final round in Abu Dhabi, notably supported by a Crowdfunding campaign on Internet. The administrators of Smith & Williamson had not lost all hope to place the team on the 2015 grid, but the ax fell this Thursday.

Caterham assets to be auctioned through company Wyles Hardy & Co from March 11, starting with 2014 racing equipment and chassis. At the same time, hope remains for Marussia since this week.
