At the end of the 2015 season, Pirelli revealed its main figures at the end of the 19 Grands Prix.

Pirelli's 2015 season figures

At the end of the 19 events of the 2015 season, Pirelli has condensed its main data with its six ranges of tires made available to drivers.

Nico Rosberg who was the most diligent with the soft tires, covering 5480 km. Felipe Massa follows with 5224 km covered with medium tires. Max Verstappen was the driver the most on the track with the super soft tires, totaling 1838 km. With hard rubbers, it is Carlos Sainz Jr who is in first place with 1794 km. Sebastian Vettel covered 482 km with the intermediate rubbers and Nico Rosberg 297 km with the rain tires.

Pirelli supplied a total of 35 tires over the entire season, including 964 slicks and 25 grooved tires. 004 were used for the race weekends compared to 10 in testing. Only 960 were used including 29 slicks and 856 grooved. The manufacturer of the F1 specifies that all erasers have been recycled.

The 2015 season offered 509 overtakes, or an average of just under 27 per Grand Prix. The highest number was achieved at the Hungarian GP with 60 maneuvers and the lowest occurred in Australia and Singapore with 11 attacks.

The pilots Toro Rosso were the combatants with 94 overtakes between them (49 for Max Verstappen and 45 for Carlos Sainz Jr). But the Mercedes remained almost untouchable since Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton were only doubled three times each.

Sebastian Vettel achieved the highest number of overtakes in a Grand Prix with 13 places gained at the Canadian GP. Fernando Alonso was the most effective with 28 places gained when the lights went out over the entire season.

706 pit stops were made, averaging 37,1 per race and 1,88 per driver. The highest number was achieved in Hungary with 60 pit stops compared to only 17 in Australia where only eleven drivers reached the finish line.

The longest race took place at the Singapore GP with a duration of 2h01 while the Italian GP was the shortest of the season ending at 1h18. It was also in Monza that the highest average speed was established with 235 km/h. But the maximum speed of the year goes to Pastor Maldonado who crossed the 366 km/h mark in Mexico.
