It had been awaited for many weeks, it's now official. Mick Schumacher will no longer wear the colors of Haas next year meaning the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be his last with Gene's team Haas. No longer counting on the support of the Ferrari Driver Academy, one of his biggest arguments at the time of negotiations, the son of the Red Baron was on an ejection seat and his non-renewal was only a matter of time.
This is how the adventure (the first?) of Mick Schumacher as a starter in the world of F1. Representative of Haas since the 2021 season, the German has competed in 42 Grands Prix, missing only one (Saudi Arabia 2022 after his big accident in qualifying). In two years with the Kannapolis team (North Carolina) and while he still has one race to go, he has scored 12 points, all obtained in the space of two consecutive Grands Prix (Great Britain and Austria) this campaign for a total of 5 abandonments. For 2023, he says he could bounce back as a reserve. It remains to be seen which team will be ready to welcome him.

And what about the cost of all its boxes which inevitably weighed down the 2022 budget of the American team?
