A Grand Prix… on Saturday! Eager to make Las Vegas its jewel of the calendar, its own Monaco, Liberty Media continues to work tirelessly so that the Grand Prix, which will take place partly on the Las Vegas Strip next November (the 18th), is unique on all the plans. In addition to the fake and spectacular decor of the famous hotel-casinos such as the Bellagio, Caesars Palace and Paris, Vegas will have the particularity of taking place at night... but above all... on Saturday!

Scheduled for November 18, one week before the all-important Thanksgiving weekend in the United States, the lights out is in fact scheduled for 22 p.m. (Pacific time), i.e. Sunday early in the morning French time. The program will thus be completely turned upside down and postponed by one day, with the first free practices taking place on Thursday, while qualifying will take place on Friday. As a reminder, the route which was initially supposed to have 14 turns was recently modified with three additional turns.

An opening ceremony planned

F1 promises show and glitter galore, Fremont Street style, with an opening ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, November 15 with music and entertainment, in particular to inaugurate the “paddock building” and launch the festivities as it should be. must. Don't worry about the image of the Formula 1…she thought of everything to compensate for her not very “end of abundance” activities! Despite its race for glitter, F1 has a big heart and it does not forget the most deprived...! Each person who pre-reserved their place had to make a donation of $7,77 to the Las Vegas Grand Prix Foundation, in order to help local associations fight against hunger...

“The Las Vegas Grand Prix will take F1 race weekends to another level, gargled Stefano Domenicali, the boss of F1. Hosting a Grand Prix in the sports and entertainment capital of the world inspired us to plan a truly spectacular celebration that has never been seen in our sport before, in the greatest arena in the world.” The words are weighed! A few hours later the extension of the Monaco Grand Prix until 2025, which on the other hand marks the formalization of the end of his untouchable status, the timing of the communication concerning the Vegas festivities is anything but trivial. The future is now!

And to think that F1 aims for ecological neutrality! Looking at the 2023 calendar and the round trips over the Atlantic, more night races... an ecological aberration! When will there be a boycott of F1 night events?

Domenicalli and his clique are really out of touch. They are going to ruin F1 for us. Against the backdrop of the World Cup boycott in Qatar, they are planning a night race in the city which is the symbol of energy waste and a real ecological aberration...all advocating carbon neutrality! I think we call these people psychopaths...
