Before the first tests of the 2016 season in F1, which will take place from February 22 to 25 in Barcelona in Catalonia, with the arrival on track of the new 2016 single-seaters, Ferrari, Red Bull et McLaren are in action for two days of driving today and tomorrow on the Paul-Ricard route in the Var, where the track's watering systems were used.

At the wheel of 2015 single-seaters, Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari), Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) and Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren) took to the track this Monday to conduct tests with Pirelli rain tires. A total of 285 laps were covered by the three drivers (with a best time for Ricciardo in 1'08"713). Note that Vandoorne was hampered in his progress by a technical problem on his McLaren-Honda.

Sebastian Vettel and Daniil Kvyat will respectively replace Kimi Räikkönen at Ferrari and Daniel Ricciardo at Red Bull, while Stoffel Vandoorne will continue at the wheel of the McLaren.
