Mass events banned until August 31 in Belgium

After the announcements of extension of confinement in France until May 11, and the questioning of the holding of the French Grand Prix, it is Belgium's turn to extend the confinement of its population until May 3.

In addition to this measure, our neighbors have also indicated a ban on mass events until August 31. A choice which mechanically leaves in suspense several major motorsport events at Spa-Francorchamps in July and August, such as the Grand Prix F1, the 6 Hours of Spa WEC or the 24 Hours of Spa in GT World Challenge / Intercontinental GT Challenge.

SRO Motorsports has already announced the postponement of the double clock tour initially scheduled for July 23 to 26. Possible announcements regarding F1, WEC andELMS are unfortunately to be expected.
