And to think that halfway through Free Practice 3, she was reluctant Williams by George Russell who topped the timesheet... A sham result due to a first half of the session played in wet conditions at Silverstone.

The drying up of the English track led to a drop in times, and, logically, Russell in the rankings. Ultimately, these are the Ferrari, although in difficulty on Friday, who finished at the front.

Charles Leclerc completed the 5,8km Northamptonshire circuit in 1:25. The Monegasque eclipses the mark of his garage neighbor Sebastian Vettel of 26 small thousandths.

Lewis Hamilton completes the Top 3 with a time 49 thousandths slower than Leclerc's reference. The gap with the 4th, Pierre Gasly, definitely in form this weekend, is barely more pronounced since the pilot Red Bull is relegated to 0”213 behind the leading Ferrari. The Frenchman precedes his teammate’s second Honda-powered RB15 Max Verstappen

Valtteri Bottas, who was crushed dangerously but undoubtedly involuntarily by Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) during the session, must be satisfied with the 6th time, ahead of the McLaren de Lando Norris.

The Renault find the Top 10 with the 8th and 9th times of Nico Hulkenberg et Daniel Ricciardo, whileAlexander albon once again lifts his Toro Rosso-Honda into the first half of the rankings.

Behind, Romain Grosjean regains some color with the 14th time, a tenth and a half ahead of his teammate Haas Kevin Magnussen, which has the latest aerodynamic package when the Frenchman found the configuration used in Australia.

Leading at mid-distance, Russell failed to finish in his usual 19th place, more than three seconds behind Leclerc but four tenths faster than Robert Kubica.
