The Brazilian GP played this evening on the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo should offer a race at a stop favored by the drivers, the event being covered over 71 laps.
The most effective strategy according to Pirelli is a one-stop race with a start on soft tires and a change to compounds made between the 26th and 29th laps. An alternative strategy consists of extending the first stint (between the 34th and 37th lap) and ending the race on medium tires.
Drivers can also attempt a double stint on soft tires of 18 to 21 laps and an end of the race on medium compounds.
According to Pirelli, the least effective strategy is a start on medium tires with a stint of 24-27 laps and a second on hard compounds.
Here are the remaining tires for each driver before the start of the Grand Prix.
