Massa's health improves

The Hungarian government spokesperson said that Felipe Massa had spent a calm night and that a new examination had been reassuring: “He is waking up more and more often and communicating actively. He reacts when someone speaks to him. We are very optimistic,” it was revealed in a statement.

According to doctors, the pilot's ability Ferrari to move his arms and legs could show that the brain is not particularly affected. Additional tests will have to confirm this later. The Ministry of Defense confirmed that Massa had been admitted to hospital in a condition described as serious with a life-threatening prognosis before his operation.

The Brazilian's family? including his wife Anna Rafaela, five months pregnant, who was in Sao Paulo during the accident and who made the trip on Saturday evening? remained by his side and Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo is due to arrive in Hungary today.
