Lewis Hamilton: “Much better in EL2”

The three-time world champion was beaten twice by his teammate Nico Rosberg at Mercedes, but admits to having made significant progress between today's two sessions in China.

Second in EL1 behind Nico Rosberg, fourth in EL2 with the renewed form of the Ferrari SF16-H, the results of Lewis Hamilton could be considered average after the first free practice sessions for the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai. The double title holder admits not having had a perfect session, particularly in FP1, before nevertheless increasing the pace in FP2, following adjustment changes.

I didn't feel too comfortable with the car this morning, but the team made some changes after FP1 and it was much better in the second session.
