Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes dominate

Felipe Massa has long maintained the best performance of the day at the wheel of his Williams FW37, after the mid-day break. But Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), in soft tires unlike Massa and Räikkönen, 2nd and 3rd times on super-soft tires, was ultimately the fastest, with a best time established in 1’23”022 one hour before the end of the session.
