"I left. Now I'm back! » It is through this short message of a few words that Lewis Hamilton gave his news after total radio silence since the last race of the 2021 season of Formula 1. The Briton, affected by the loss of a record eighth title in the last lap of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to the benefit of Max Verstappen, had decided to take a step back, completely disappearing from circulation and social networks, except to honor his new status as a knight at Windsor Castle. The Briton published a post on his social networks this Saturday evening, big smile. Seems refreshed. Note also the presence of a cairn at the bottom left of this photo, an artificial pile of stones notably used to mark hiking trails, particularly in foggy weather, or to commemorate places of contemplation. Symbol of a Hamilton who would have found his way? In any case, if any doubt could remain about his participation in the next F1 season which will kick off at the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 20, this seems to have been lifted. A reappearance which also comes at the right time, two weeks before the presentation of the Mercedes W13.
