Lewis Hamilton: “No new approach”

By emerging as winner last Sunday at the finish of the Singapore Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton will have perfectly managed a very busy period, between social appearances and managing a racing weekend.

On the evening of his triumph in the streets of Singapore, the world champion silenced his detractors by increasing his lead over Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) to 40 points before the last six events of the season.

The pilot Mercedes believes that its mode of operation is necessary and does not intend to change anything before starting the final sprint. « No new approach, No. I will continue to take the races one by one, trying to be better each time and, above all, without changing anything in my habits, says Hamilton.

I've been in the business long enough to know that it's not worth getting carried away. We did a good job today and I'm very happy with it, but there are still a lot of points to be taken.

You have to stay focused and continue to deliver the same type of performance. I was criticized a lot this weekend for my 10 crazy days between Shanghai and New York before coming here, but I know what's good for me. And traveling, doing lots of different things, is good for me! »
