Lewis Hamilton for a first in Brazil?

By picking up his third world title at the end of the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas on October 25, the Briton Lewis Hamilton had achieved one of its objectives: match Ayrton Senna on the list of F1.

This weekend, on the land of his idol, the pilot Mercedes on the other hand, will want to achieve a first, namely to win on the Interlagos route. “It was Ayrton's home race, and it was one of my dreams to race in São Paulo when I was younger and I always feel his presence when I'm there.

It's pretty incredible to think that it took him eight attempts to win this race and it's one of the few where I haven't won yet. If I can change that this weekend, it would be a tribute to Ayrton and another highlight to add to this incredible season, so I'm going to do everything I can to make it happen. »

On a track which saw him be titled for the first time in 2008 after a breathtaking final against the Ferrari by Felipe Massa, Hamilton will notably have to face his teammate Nico Rosberg, winner at the Mexican Grand Prix, and who won the Brazilian round last year.
