Lewis Hamilton extends with Mercedes for three seasons

It was one of the soap operas that had been livening up the paddock for several weeks. This time, it's official, Lewis Hamilton extended his contract with the team Mercedes, for three additional seasons, until 2018.

Arriving in 2013 at Mercedes and under contract until the end of 2015, the negotiations between the Briton and the German team took time, the extension initially having to be recorded at the end of the 2014 championship, but constantly postponed, making notably giving rise to rumors Ferrari.

Even after the success of 2014, this desire is greater than ever – and it is the same for me. The Mercedes I currently drive is the best I have ever had in my career. » The Briton will therefore continue with the star clan, which has supported his career since 1998.

Nico Rosberg had extended his contract in the middle of last year with the world champions.
