Lewis Hamilton: “Very unusual for me”

Unexpected scenario for Lewis Hamilton in Brazil this Saturday in qualifying. Having just entered the track in Q1, the British driver did not even have the opportunity to set a time, making a mistake and ending his race in the protective wall.

« I'm not sure exactly what happened, Hamilton admits to the media. I don't have much to say and I take responsibility for that. Challenges make life interesting. I'm going to do everything tomorrow to try to come back. But overcoming these kinds of challenges gives a certain depth to life. It's not a great day, but I'm holding my head high.

This is very unusual for me, but it shows that we are all human and that mistakes like this can happen. I will try to have as much fun as possible during the race. »

Mercedes will have its two cars placed at each end of the grid tomorrow at the start, since Valtteri Bottas signed his third career pole, ahead of both Ferrari.
