Liberty Media confirms new Grand Prix times

Back to basics. After a few seasons with departures pushed back ten minutes in order to attract more viewers, the Formula 1 returns to its traditional hours. Exit 15:10 p.m., 16:10 p.m. or 18:10 p.m. and return to 15:00 p.m., 16:00 p.m. and 18:00 p.m.

Another new feature of this 2021 season: the shortening of the first two free practice sessions of the race weekends. EL1 and EL2 will no longer last 90 minutes but 60 like EL3, i.e. a reduction of one hour of driving each week.

All European Grands Prix will start at 15:00 p.m. (local time) including the French Grand Prix scheduled for June 25-27.
