Difficult to do without it during a Grand Prix. The tire is one of the most important elements of a car. Since 2011, an exclusive manufacturer has equipped the ten teams and its contract has been extended until the end of the 2027 season. It is Pirelli. Every weekend, the Italian manufacturer charters no less than 1 tires with a precise distribution. Twenty sets of tires per driver for conventional weekends: thirteen of slicks (600 Soft, 8 Medium and 3 Hard) and seven for wet conditions (2 Rain and 3 Intermediate).
