The origin of the Red Bull livery

Since the start of winter testing at Jerez in Spain, la Red Bull RB11 sports a camouflage livery, who surprised during the presentation of the car 2015. “This comes from a design of a helmet with which Sebastian Vettel ran last year (in Italy, Editor’s note). It was a lot of fun and we thought it would be interesting to extend this concept to the whole car. Dietrich Mateschitz (big boss of Red Bull) liked it when he saw it. It's in the Red Bull spirit, we're not afraid to do things differently. It's quite striking, and it's impossible to see any details in the photos at this time of year when everyone is trying to keep a low profile. » explains Team Principal Christian Horner.

The RB11 will benefit of a different dress for the championship, despite the very good reception given to the camouflage livery. “Believe me, our real livery will not disappoint when we introduce it. » concludes the Briton.
