Lotus must improve during pit stops

Overall, Paul Seaby is happy with Lotus' start to the season. The manager of the racing team describes as “fantastic” the work carried out by the mechanics and other members of the team, those we rarely see, and who notably contributed to seeing Kimi Räikkönen win during the opening round, in Australia.

However there is one area in which men ofenstone will have to improve, according to Paul Seaby: the pit stops. “Inexplicably, we lost our tempo a little during the weekend in Malaysia”, confesses the man on the team's official website. “On Friday, training was as good as usual, but from Saturday onwards, we had difficulty coordinating everything. The change from wet to dry track, with the corollary adjustment of the front wing, did not help us, but even taking it into account, it was not our best weekend. » Before the Chinese Grand Prix, in three weekends, the mechanics will have to train again to get back to the top. “We need to get back on track, put everyone through a lot of training at Enstone and work to get back to our best level. It's like for a football team, if we are good, we deserve congratulations, if we are not, we must accept it as a group, work together and not make any more false notes. »
