Lotus Renault GP, life goes on

While Robert Kubica has now left the intensive care unit of the Santa Corona hospital in Pietra Ligure, the teams F1 are hard at work on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit. Among them his team, Lotus Renault GP. Currently on track, Vitaly Petrov signed the sixth performance. During these tests in Andalusia, Nick Heidfled and Bruno Senna will take the wheel of the Lotus Renault R31 with a view to possible tenure pending the Polish's recovery.

For now, in the Jerez paddock, thoughts are all with Robert. In support of the unfortunate driver, stuck in his bed while waiting to undergo further operations on his foot, humerus and elbow, the teams affixed a message to their bodywork in his native language, “Szybkiego powrotu do zdrowia Robert”, which translates to “get well Robert, come back soon”. His team was naturally the first to put up these stickers.
