Lucas di Grassi: “Finish the race”

For the moment the Virgin VR-01 is not in the game. Despite this, the drivers of Richard Branson's team are happy with the efforts made by the team.

“Since the first day we have progressed a lot,” Lucas di Grassi explains to Autosport. We gathered a lot of information during these tests, even if I would have liked to cover more than 12 or 13 kilometers before taking part in my first race. »

Despite these setbacks, the Brazilian driver remains optimistic:

“I would like to thank the entire team; they did a great job. After these tests I realize that everyone is 100%, they are really all working together which makes me fully confident for Bahrain where our objective will be to finish the race. It will be difficult for us, but the team is capable of it, that?s a certainty. »

Difficult Bahrain GP ahead for di Grassi, but former reserve driver Renault does not admit defeat and will put his heart into work to cross the finish line of his first GP.
