Ma Qing Hua on track for HRT in FP1 at Monza

Thanks to the 483 kilometers covered in the seat of the F112 on the Silverstone circuit last July, Ma Qing Hua obtained his Super License from the FIA and can now move on to the next stage of the training process concocted for him HRT. He will therefore become the first Chinese to pilot a Formula 1 as part of a Grand Prix weekend.

« This is an important step towards my dream of becoming a Formula 1 driver, rejoiced Qing Hua. This will be my second outing in the car after the young driver test at Silverstone, and I'm very excited at the prospect of driving at a circuit like Monza. The objective of this session will be to continue to progress on my program, accumulate more kilometers, experience behind the wheel of a Formula 1 and help the team. I'm excited but also calm about it because I've been training hard over the last few months to be ready when the opportunity presents itself. I also worked on the simulator to discover the circuit and the behavior of a Formula 1 car. In recent months, I spent a lot of time with the team at the Grands Prix and I learned a lot from the engineers and my teammates who shared their information and experience, which will be very useful »
