As a result, Kevin Magnussen will be suspended for the next Grand Prix on the calendar, namely that of Azerbaijan (13-15 September).

Haas now has the option to appeal the penalty in the hope of avoiding a driver missing in Baku in two weeks. When asked about the possible penalty, the American team simply replied: "When we have official information to share, we will do so at the appropriate time." However, the FIA ​​subsequently published an official document confirming Kevin Magnussen's suspension for the following Grand Prix, in Baku.

If the suspension is confirmed, Kevin Magnussen would become the first driver to be excluded from a Grand Prix since the introduction of this points-based license during the 2014 season. As for his possible replacement, Haas has not communicated anything for the moment. Could Oliver Bearman have a new chance?
