Mallya: The podium with a little luck

Silverstone did not smile on Force India who did not score a single point at the British Grand Prix. Nevertheless, Vijay Mallya is satisfied with the potential of his VJM05s and hopes that his team will have the opportunity to seize an opportunity to stand out and get back on its direct competitors.

Mallya: The podium with a little luck

Force India still dreams of finishing in fifth place in the Championship but the last round at Silverstone was not favorable to the Indian team which did not score any points. Paul di Resta retired from the start of the race after contact with Romain Grosjean (Lotus) while Nico Hulkenberg lost his ninth place by making an error a short distance from the finish. Vijay Mallya's team at least had the satisfaction of seeing most of its direct competitors fail outside the top ten (Bruno Senna recovered ninth place), which allows for an interesting status quo before the German Grand Prix. in Hockenheim.

Viajy Mallya is focused on his team's battle with Williams and Sauber. After seeing Pastor Maldonado and Sergio Perez to showcase himself, he no longer hides his desire to see a VJM05 evolve at the forefront. However, the president of the Indian team is aware that a combination of circumstances will be necessary to achieve this. “We are returning to Germany with great determination. It's satisfying to see that we are regularly fighting in the top ten. We need a bit of luck to get on the podium. That being said, our direct rivals were not luckier than us, Perez and Maldonado did well but they did not score any points (at Silverstone). Sauber did not achieve a result allowing it to increase its lead over us. We are only three points behind Williams and 16 behind Sauber and we have every reason to be optimistic. We must approach all races with the utmost seriousness, with the same intensity and do everything to score more points. »
