Manor GP becomes Virgin Racing

After supporting Brawn GP this season, Richard Branson, the emblematic boss of Virgin, decided to take a further step by becoming more involved in Formula 1 with the new Manor GP team. The team will even start the season under the name Virgin Racing.

Partner of Brawn GP in 2009 during a season which saw the team and Jenson Button win both world titles, Virgin will therefore experience a new adventure with one of the four new teams. John Booth, the director of Manor GP, and Richard Branson are expected to announce the agreement on Tuesday.

For the moment, Timo Glock is the only confirmed driver in the team.
