Alpine announced the departure of its executive director Marcin Budkowski with immediate effect.

The internal restructuring ofAlpine F1 Team wanted by Laurent Red is on the way. While awaiting the possible arrival of Otmar Szafnauer in its ranks, the French team confirmed that Marcin Budkowski was leaving his position as executive director of the team. Formula 1.

At the end of its 2021 campaign punctuated by 5th place in the championship, Alpine decided to launch an internal restructuring plan. We knew that the management team was likely to be remodeled and here is its first victim: Marcin Budkowski. A member of the team since 2018, the Pole will not continue his adventure with the Blues despite constantly improving results since his arrival.

While waiting for the arrival of Marcin Budkowski’s successor, Laurent Rossi “ will temporarily manage the team to allow everyone to concentrate on preparing for next season. » Still as part of the internal restructuring plan, Otmar Szafnauer could join the Viry-Châtillon and enstone according to our information.
