Mark Webber named driver of the month for July

As during the elections of previous months, many of you cast your votes for the three winners for the month of July. Until the end, the match between the old Australian veteran and the young Frenchman was close. As sympathetic and deserving as he is, Mark Webber only wins by a narrow margin against his younger brother Jules Bianchi.

The story of both indeed deserved your greatest interest. Starting with the pilot Red Bull came a long way after his broken leg last winter. He who, during the tests F1 winter, was filled with doubt before settling back behind the wheel. He who feared having to suffer from the comparison with his new teammate, the prodigy Hag announced as the new Schumacher. Ultimately, Webber rebuilt himself and did not fail. Better, he gradually revealed himself to be the equal of the young German star and this was well worth highlighting by your votes.

For his part, the Frenchman confirmed the hopes placed in him by the ART Grand Prix team and its manager Nicolas Todt. Race after race, Jules Bianchi accumulates victory and confidence. Enough to consider the future with optimism and a possible title that others before him have won before establishing themselves in the supreme discipline. As for Lewis Hamilton. its very low score? it doesn't pass the 10% mark? is disappointing for the month.

See you next week to discover the names of the three drivers nominated for the month of August.

July 2009:
Mark Webber: 46,57%
Jules Bianchi: 44,37%
Lewis Hamilton: 9,06%
