Between Lando Norris et Oscar piastri, it's the opposition of styles and personalities. The Briton is fire, a young man full of life, with a sparkling smile and infectious joy when he wins. But Norris is also a driver with a fragile mentality, who still struggles to convert all his talent into convincing results because of a difficulty in transcending himself in the moments that matter.
Opposite him, Oscar Piastri is ice: calm, impenetrable, and unwavering. The Australian's successes are celebrated with restraint, without outpouring of joy. His calm smile is enough to gauge his satisfaction. This temperament makes him impervious to pressure, as he has demonstrated at the start of this season, where he has won three of the first five rounds.
"For me, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris are on the same level as drivers. On the other hand, I think Oscar Piastri is a little stronger mentally. Lando often makes small mistakes at the wrong time," analyzes Günther Steiner, the former director of Haas converted consultant for Canal +, Among others.
"I think Oscar Piastri is mentally stronger."

Webber brings to Piastri his experience of team-mate battles
Appearing on the encrypted channel this weekend, the Italian shared his opinion on Oscar Piastri's current form, who is more confident than ever as a contender for the world title. According to Steiner, the Melbourne native owes his state of grace in part to his manager Mark Webber, who shared the secrets of his Formula 1 experience with him.
"I think Oscar is also good because he has Mark Webber as his manager. He was very smart to surround himself with him because Mark can tell him the mistakes he shouldn't make, because he himself made them a few years ago." continues Günther Steiner. "He has experience that he can pass on to Oscar, who is now managing to be calm, to have self-confidence, to be very emotionally stable. In the end, he's doing a very good job and for the moment Norris is in the background."
With 215 Grand Prix contested between 2002 and 2013, Mark Webber has solid experience in Formula 1. The Australian can share with his compatriot his memories of his battles with Sebastian Vettel in Red Bull, when both men had the best car of the field. A situation that echoes the one Piastri and Norris are experiencing today... At the time, Webber had not been able (or had not been able?) to establish himself as the team leader and had to settle for the number two role: his experience may have helped Oscar Piastri avoid being pigeonholed into this role, to which he had been assigned in the second half of last season in order to help his teammate fight for the title.

Maybe even a better Webber one day if he becomes champion with McLaren, knowing that he will not be subject to the law of his teammate like his manager.
