Massa in the simulator

Arriving in Italy on Monday, Felipe Massa immediately got back to work. More than two months after his accident during qualifying practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix, the Brazilian was busy on his first day spent in the lair of the Team.

« We worked well, without experiencing any problems ", did he declare. " The simulator uses a car from A1GP, it’s not quite like a Formula 1 but it?s pretty close. I drove on the Barcelona track so as not to be too disoriented »

Massa also made no secret of his impatience to get back into a single-seater with a prancing horse. “ I miss Formula 1 a lot; it?s my passion more than my work. I?m really looking forward to being behind the wheel of a real single-seater! », added Massa. “ It was difficult to stay in front of my television watching the team. Plus I had to get up early because of the time difference! »

The vice-world champion's program will continue tomorrow with another day in the simulator. The Scuderia announced that the driver would not carry out an F1 test this week.
