Massa aims for fifth place overall

However, the Brazilian's goal will be difficult to achieve even if the season is still long. After nine Grands Prix, Massa occupies 13th place in the championship with 23 points while fifth, his former teammate Kimi Räikkönen, already has 83 points. He understands that he will have great difficulty reaching this position at the end of the season, but does not lose hope.

« The championship remains important to me. I know there are still a lot of points to give away in the next 11 races, explains Massa. This is very important to me and I want to fight to get back into the Top 5. It will be difficult to accomplish, but you have to take on a difficult challenge. In addition to that, the constructors' championship is very important for us and the higher I am in the championship, the more interesting it will be for Ferrari. »
