Massa will aim for another podium in Monaco

Scuderia Ferrari achieved its best result of the season at the Spanish Grand Prix with the victory of Fernando Alonso and the podium won by Felipe Massa. The stable of Maranello will thus arrive with full confidence in Monaco where victory is always more beautiful than in any other event. However, the Prancing Horse team will have to improve its performance on a flying lap to hope to qualify in a good position on the starting grid. So far, only Sao Paulista has entered an F138 on the front row at the start of the Malaysian Grand Prix.

“We’ve had a positive start to the season.”, commented the Brazilian during a Ferrari show in Warsaw. “We were very good in some races but we had problems in some events which cost us valuable points. We have observed constant progress this year, whether on the car or on the work of the team. We have proven that we are competitive, but we clearly need to improve, particularly in qualifying. We are aware of this and we are looking into this. I really like the Monaco circuit, partly because I live there. We are always at the limit, being very close to the barriers, with no margin for error. Grid position will be more important than at any circuit and I hope we do great things on Saturday. My goal will be very simple: to constantly fight for the podium. »
