Mateschitz: “Do not tamper with Ferrari”

For Dietrich Mateschitz, favoring one of his drivers over the other is unethical. This is why he will let Webber and Vettel explain themselves freely on the track on Sunday. Even if it means leaving the title there.

Mateschitz: “Do not tamper with Ferrari”

Last Sunday, the team Red Bull Racing showed once again that it would not favor one of its drivers over another. If Christian Horner had asked Sebastian Vettel to let Mark Webber pass, then the Australian would have found himself a small point behind?Alonso in the provisional general classification before the final round.

This weekend in Abu Dhabi, once again, neither of the two Red Bull Racing drivers will be favored, as confirmed by big boss Dietrich Mateschitz to the Austrian magazine Kliene Zeitung.

“Let the two drivers race, and what will happen will happen. He says. If Alonso wins, then we will be unlucky. I foresee an ending like the films released from Hollywood studios. What happens if we don't become world champions? We will do it next year. But our philosophy remains the same because it?s sport, and sport should be like that. We don't handle things like Ferrari can do it ".

The spectacle promises to be grandiose on the Yas Marina track on Sunday. The two Red Bull drivers will be more motivated than ever. But be careful not to exceed the limits. Will the slightest mistake be paid for in cash?
