Mattia Binotto could focus on the 2021 single-seater

After what will remain as one of the most difficult seasons for the Team Ferrari In recent years, all of Maranello's hopes have logically turned towards 2021. If the technical regulations will only be upset in 2022, with a potential redistribution of the cards, the next Italian single-seater must partly erase this year's disappointing performances.

For this, Mattia Binotto, head of Ferrari Sports Management, could focus in the coming days on this part of Maranello's work.

“You always have to balance your tasks on the circuit and in the factory, recalls the Italian on the website of the F1. The factory where we develop the car, prepare the cars, is important.

I think I won't follow all the races, even in 2020 I am already considering skipping part of the races in the last part of the season starting in Turkey. Because in the end, when you are responsible for an entire team, racing is certainly important, but managing the entire team is even more important. »

Ferrari will be able, remember, to count on a reshuffled pair of drivers in 2021, since Charles Leclerc will now be supported by Carlos Sainz, replacing Sebastian Vettel leaving for Aston Martin Racing.
