Don't panic, the reigning double world champion is fine. Suffering from stomach aches while preparing his departure for Jeddah, Max Verstappen was forced to postpone his arrival in Saudi lands. Nothing to create panic since the pilot Red Bull quickly reassured everyone by indicating that he will arrive on Friday for the start of the race weekend.
« I feel good again after being out of shape for a few days due to stomach aches, he wrote on his account Twitter. As a result, I unfortunately had to postpone my flight for a day, so I won't be on the runway until Friday. See you in Jeddah! »

There is therefore no reason to worry about the state of form of the first winner of the 2023 season two weeks ago in Bahrain. Red Bull for its part indicated that Max Verstappen received authorization from the FIA to arrive in Saudi Arabia a day later, time for him to fully recover from his health concerns. All's well that ends well.
Max has been suffering from a stomach illness over the past few days and, with the agreement of the FIA, will not be present at the track today. Feel better, Max. 🙏🦁 https://t.co/f7CMBgchZY
