McLaren sets new record in 2024

The 2024 season of Formula 1 saw McLaren regain its letters of nobility. The British manufacturer won no less than six victories during this exercise through Lando Norris et Oscar piastri, a first since 2012 when the pair Lewis Hamilton – Jenson Button had signed seven.
Above all, the Woking brand has replayed the leading roles in the fight for world titles. In the Drivers, Norris competed for as long as possible, but ultimately failed to dethrone Max Verstappen, ultimately finishing runner-up behind the Dutchman.
The English team nevertheless had the opportunity to celebrate a victory by winning the Constructors' title for the first time since 1998. 26 years between two Constructors' titles, this is a new record in the history of Formula 1.
Before this ninth McLaren title, the brand with the greatest anticipation between two titles was Ferrari, which had experienced a 16-year period of famine between 1983 and 1999.

26 years between 2 Constructors' titles, a new record in the history of Formula 1! This gives hope to others like Ferrari or Williams who have been waiting for a new title for a long time too, especially on Grove's side!
