McLaren will have a new livery

McLaren has confirmed that it will change the livery of its MP4-30s from the Spanish GP onwards. But the changes will be minor.

McLaren confirmed speculation about a new livery present on MP4-30s at the Spanish GP played this May 10. If the single-seaters of Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso will lose their silver chrome color, the bodies will remain gray with a “graphite gray coloring” specified in the team press release.

The British team specifies that these changes were made in order to improve the visual rendering of the cars in the light of the sun and spotlights.

Some fans may be disappointed with these minor changes as rumors mentioned the resumption of the colors of the McLaren from the 1980s with former sponsor Marlboro.
