McLaren works hard

If the performance of the MP4-24 has not been there since the start of the season, the team of Woking spare no effort. From the drivers to the director and the vice-president, everyone talks about the work done by the team to try to get back to the top of the grid.

« We won?t introduce any major improvements this weekend but I?m still looking forward to this race », proclaims Lewis Hamilton. " Even though our results have not been good lately, we continue to work very hard and we hope to get closer to the top positions before the end of this difficult season. »

« Although we cannot hope to achieve the same result as previously in Germany, where we have won races the last two seasons, we are continuing the development of the MP4-24 to make it more competitive. », Adds Martin Whitmarsh, the director.

Finally, Norbert Haug, the vice-president of Mercedes Motorsport also agrees with this. “ This year we have no chance of winning because our work to improve the car has not borne fruit. However, we continue to work extremely hard. »
