McLaren working for 2010

At the end of the Brazilian Grand Prix, the team McLaren quickly got back to work in order to best prepare for the 2010 season. The Woking team is putting all its strength into the design of its new mount to be ready for the Bahrain Grand Prix which will open next season. Even questions regarding the future driver duo are postponed until the off-season.

« Back in Woking we are currently focused on developing an all-new car with an aggressive engineering program », explains Martin Whitmarsh, the team director on the itv site-f1. " We intend to start the season more competitive than the previous season. »

In 2009, the team launched the season in Australia with an MP4-24 that fell far short of the performance of a world champion car. Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen were almost two seconds behind the leading Brawn GP. Martin Whitmarsh's men do not intend to repeat such a misfortune and are working tirelessly to play for the title again in 2010.

Finally, regarding the name of Lewis Hamilton's future teammate, Whitmarsh does not wish to comment immediately. “ We will focus on these other subjects at the end of the season He concluded.
