Merhi: An “unfair” performance difference

Robert Merhi has expressed his frustration at seeing such a gap in performance within the F1 peloton. The Spaniard seems eager to compete in the FR 3.5 Series.

As Roberto Merhi prepares to compete in Formula Renault 3.5 Series which begins on April 25 and 16 at Motorland Aragon (Spain) with Pons Racing, the Spaniard has already made three Grand Prix starts with Manor F1. But the 2011 champion of the F3 Euro Series was only able to get a simple idea of the discipline, as the performance gap is so significant.

« It seems a little unfair to race with such different cars », admitted Robert Merhi, quoted by the EFE agency, who is impatient to resume the World Series by Renault. “The races seem better because I'm constantly bothered by blue flags in F1. »
