Michelin facing F1 teams

The meeting has been held since 10 a.m. (French time) in the motorhome McLaren and brings together representatives of the stables of Formula 1 and Nick Shorrock, competition director at Michelin. While Pirelli seemed in pole position to equip F1 teams from 2011, the French manufacturer wanted to get back into the race.

If Michelin does not seem willing to make its return to F1 at any cost, Nick Shorrock will certainly be ready to review some of Michelin's positions. The Istanbul meeting should not lead to any immediate decision but this meeting organized at the last minute could well tilt the balance in favor of the French manufacturer.
