Midnight, the hour of the brave?

For the moment, according to the federal rumor, around ten teams have registered but, apart from the English Williams GP and the American USF1, neither seems to have the structures or resources essential for this enterprise. This is the means of pressure, on those expected around the corner, that the nine teams gathered within FOTA are hoping for.
From meeting to meeting, from emails to emails and from phone calls to faxes, things have nevertheless moved forward even if, in principle, neither the FIA nor the FOTA says they are giving in.

However, it appears that concessions were made on both sides. The first stands on its decision of a blocked budget but the sum increased from 45 to 100 million euros, excluding pilot salaries and marketing budget, before returning to 45 million in 2011. It is also possible to exclude the salary of a possible Technical “genius” or team manager. Double technical regulations abandoned. Phew, the F1 is saved! To compensate, and help the new teams, the current teams would undertake to communicate any technical information useful to beginners, only in 2010.

These are only concessions of a material nature, the root of the problem does not seem to have been resolved: the governance of the FIA lacks clarity and imposes its orders without discussion, which the teams say they no longer want.
