It is confirmation of our hard work and a great reward for the team which was forced to deal with unfavorable circumstances. » Sauber has indeed faced legal actions from Giedo van der Garde, before finding an agreement with the Dutch pilot.

For his first race in F1, Felipe Nasr managed to climb to fifth place, after extricating himself from a complicated start, and a contact with Pastor Maldonado who subsequently left the track. “I thought my car was damaged but after a few laps I noticed everything was fine. The race went as planned. » Marcus Ericsson completed the points harvest with his first units scored in the World Championship.
