Newey: Mercedes and Ferrari are in control

We are in a situation where only Mercedes and Ferrari are strong enough to win the Championship. They ultimately control discipline. I hope the FIA ​​will manage this situation. »

Adrian Newey does not regret the introduction of the 6l turbo/hybrid V1.6. “I have always liked the changes in regulations, they offer new perspectives of discovery. The current engine must remain the same... The FIA ​​can also put in place a standard engine which would be competitive for all teams,” added the Briton.
