Nico Rosberg hopes to have made an impression

If Nico Rosberg was unable to challenge his teammate for the title Lewis Hamilton, the German had a satisfactory end to the season by signing six consecutive poles and three victories in a row at the end of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The vice-world champion dominated the last round of the Championship, maintaining the advantage over Lewis Hamilton after starting from pole. “Austin was my worst time of the year. The German seems confident ahead of the 2016 season even if he expects strong competition. “We are aware of the threat posed by the men in red (Ferrari) and we don't want to see them too close to us. We will do what is necessary this winter to maintain our level of performance at the start of the year”, added Nico Rosberg.

If Nico Rosberg does not want to maintain his rivalry with Lewis Hamilton in the media, he still admitted on Canal+ that he hoped to have left his mark on him with his three consecutive successes. “Maybe it gave him a little kick…”, wished the pilot Mercedes.
